The Toronto Raptors were eliminated by the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 6 last night.
However, the Raptors didn’t go down easy.
Pascal Siakam led the pack with 24 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists, while Chris Boucher scored 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
Gary Trent, Jr and Scottie Barnes also played well.
Trent, Jr. scored 19 and the Rookie of the Year scored 17 and snatched 7 rebounds.
Unfortunately, their attack wasn’t enough to outpace the 76ers, who had 4 players score at least 19 points.
But as I said prior, the Raptors are going to be fine and their future is bright.
Just them getting into the playoffs (sans play-in) and nearly evening the series out after a 3-0 start (sans Fred VanVleet) is more than what many people expected from them this season.
So, you have to give the Raptors props for that.
And they have some great young players in Barnes, Trent, OG Anunoby, and Precious Achiuwa, who I’m sure are going to use these losses as vital education (hopefully).
They can only go up from here.
So, thank you Raptors for a wonderful season and we (the fans) are looking forward to next season!
