Pressure is one of the most fun basketball games you can play.
It’s super competitive (if you want it to be) and allows you to work on your 3-point shooting.
I love talking smack in this game especially when the pot is about to be maxed out.
But aside from this game being fun, it’s also a great drill to help you work on your perimeter shooting (as I mentioned earlier) as you have to shoot multiple 3-pointers in a round and feel out the shot, making adjustments each turn.
Here’s how to play pressure:
Figure out the order of shooters. You can do it by height, shoot-off, etc
You can shoot from anywhere on the 3-point line
The first player goes. If made, that’s 1 point in the pot. If missed, nothing happens
The next player goes. If made, 1 point in pot. Now, if 1st player makes the shot and 2nd player misses, 2nd player has to collect the point in the pot
The 1st player to collect 7 points loses
The goal is to have as few points as possible (preferably zero)
