I don’t remember when I learned about Otis Thorpe (it might possibly be from a basketball card) but whenever I needed a solid big who can rebound in NBA Live, I tended to try to trade for him.
Thorpe was a 6-10, 250 pound power forward who averaged a double-double multiple times. He was also durable and practically never missed games.
Between 1987 and 1992, he played 82 games a season and averaged 37 minutes a game as the starting power forward.
