Is Kawhi Leonard Returning This Season? | Mail Time
Kawhi Leonard might be returning to the court this season and more.
You know that GQ series called “X Goes Undercover” on YouTube where celebrities and pro athletes answer questions they find on sites like Quora or Reddit?
This article is like that.
I’ve watched a few of those and just liked the idea of it. It also looks fun to answer random basketball questions from those sites.
So, here are some questions I found on Quora that I am going to answer:
Who is better Zion Williamson or Ja Morant?
If we’re just talking about the two players up to this season, I have to say Ja Morant is better than Zion Williamson.
The reason why is that Morant is off the charts this season. He is putting up phenomenal numbers (25 points, 7 assists, and 1.4 steals) and is considered to be one of the best point guards this season.
Zion Williamson had a great campaign last year and was an All-Star. But he wasn’t deemed as one of the top power forwards.
He also failed to lead his team into the playoffs.
Ja and the Memphis Grizzlies made the playoffs last season and are one of the best teams in the West right now. They’re on the verge of making some really loud noises in the conference.
Thus, Ja Morant is better than Zion Williamson (right now anyway).
Is Zion Williamson already better than Giannis?
I’m just gonna put it like this: No.
Zion Williamson can’t already be better than Giannis Antetokounmpo because Giannis has accomplished sooooo much more.
He’s a 2x MVP, a Defensive Player of the Year, a champion, and a Finals MVP, to name a few of his accolades.
Zion is an All-Rookie and an All-Star.
However, that’s not to say that Zion can’t be better than the “Greek Freak” one day. He has only played two NBA seasons.
But from the looks of how his career is currently going, I don’t think it is going to be as glorious as Giannis’.
Will Kawhi Leonard return this NBA season?
There was a report that said he is ahead in his recovery and has a chance of returning to action this season.
“Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard is ahead of schedule in his rehab from a torn right ACL and a return to action this season is within reach, league sources told Yahoo Sports’ Chris Haynes as he relayed on TNT Thursday night.”
So it’s possible, but don’t be too hopeful.
Could an All-Time Bulls team beat the All-Time Celtics?
To answer this, we have to look at the rosters for each team. However, I’m just going with 8 players per team.
So, the roster for the All-Time Chicago Bulls would be:
Michael Jordan
Scottie Pippen
Dennis Rodman
Derrick Rose
Artis Gilmore
Joakim Noah
Zach Lavine
Jimmy Butler
(I’m not including some of the players from the 2021-22 season, like DeMar Derozan and the G.O.A.T Alex Caruso, because they haven’t played a full season with them yet.)
The All-Time Boston Celtics roster looks something like this:
Larry Bird
Kevin McHale
Bill Russell
John Havlicek
Paul Pierce
Kevin Garnett
Bob Cousy
Robert Parish
Just going off of name recognition, I’d say the Celtics would beat the Bulls in a game.
However, if Caruso played then it would be a whole different story… or not.
Final Thoughts
How did you like this post? Let me know in the comments.
I enjoyed writing it and would love to write more of these types of articles. But I want to know what you think.
Is the format easy to read? What else should I add to it? What should I do differently?
Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks!
