Man, Ja Morant is being put through the hurdles!
The universe is placing obstacle after obstacle to deter him from his path to greatness as it was reported earlier this week that Morant will be sitting out the remainder of the season to rehab after undergoing shoulder surgery.
He recently came back after being suspended 25 games and he was playing really well.
In 9 contests, Ja was averaging 25 points and 8 assists per game and was showing everyone that the time off did not affect his game. He came in hot and led the Grizzlies to 4 consecutive wins.
As a matter of fact, that time away from the limelight might have made him a slightly better basketball player.
I say this because he has a better field goal percentage and fewer turnovers than last season, but has played less than 10 games and missed roughly a quarter of the season.
Anyway, I hope Ja has a speedy recovery because the basketball world needs him in it.
