JaVale McGee Is One of the Great Lakers
His no. should be retired by the Lakers’ organization for this.
You don’t know this, but JaVale McGee is one of the great Lakers.
And I know that’s a bold statement since he is also a Hall of Fame Shaqtin’ a Fool player.
But I was doing some random research the other day and learned that McGee leads the Lakers in four All-Time categories.
(For context, LeBron James leads four categories as well.)
I was caught with the surprise bug -much like how you are now with your eyebrows all raised and your head all tilted and your mouth saying, “Oh, what?”
The categories that Javale leads in are field goal percentage, 2-point field goal percentage, effective field goal percentage, and block percentage.
Additionally, he helped the Lakers win an NBA championship back in 2020.
Now, you’re probably thinking that he was only able to claim the top spot in some of those categories because he played little minutes.
Well, you are incorrect.
He played 143 games with the Lakers and started 130 of them, and played 20 minutes a game. In other words, he played two seasons and started the majority of contests.
So, there you have it. JaVale McGee is an All-Time great Laker.
Who would’ve thunk it?
;)
