Y’all ever sit there and wonder what Indiana Pacers’ legend Roy Hibbert has been up to?
Neither have I.
But I did come across his YouTube channel the other day and it’s pretty entertaining.
He analyzes players and teams and tells funny stories from when he was in the league.
For instance, in one of his videos, he talked about Kobe Bryant’s legendary final NBA game. And in another one, he talked about how he still gets nightmares of Russell Westbrook posterizing him.
I’ve watched a few of his videos and I like them. His stories are often funny, and his game and player breakdowns are knowledgeable.
Personally, I like watching his videos before bed because it’s great for the end-of-day wind-down. It’s chill, positive and calm.
Anyway, you can check his channel out here.
Also - and I should’ve asked this earlier- but do you know who Hibbert is?
If not, he played for the Indiana Pacers most of his career.
He was with them during the Paul George era when they were the Heatles (Miami Heat’s Big 3 with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh) biggest playoff threat.
Hibbert was the defensive anchor of the team, where he averaged 1.9 blocks and 6.8 rebounds during his 7 seasons in Indiana. He also averaged 11.1 points per game.
Additionally, he competed in the playoffs four times with the Pacers and averaged 12.6 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game.
He was also a two-time NBA All-Star and one-time All-Defensive selection.
Hibbert retired in 2016-17 after a short stint in Charlotte and Denver.
