The Toronto Raptors will be bringing on Bo Cruz -er, Juancho Hernangómez.
ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski first reported the news on Tuesday, July 26. He said that the team and Hernangómez are finalizing a one-year deal.

Additionally, his contract is a partially guaranteed deal, which means he’ll have to compete for a roster spot in training camp.

Hernangómez is a perfect fit for the Raptors. He’s a 6-9 wing.
That’s all.
No, but jokes aside, Hernangómez is an active, mobile, multiskilled player who can provide energy and 3-point shooting for the Raptors off of the bench.
In his best season thus far (in 2020), he averaged 12.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.0 steal a game with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
He can also knock down the three-ball consistently as he has a 35 percent career three-point shooting average.
Final Thoughts
Realistically, the Raptors don’t need Hernangómez (I personally think they could use his brother, Willy Hernangomez, more).
They don’t need another wing player like him coming off of the bench as they already have Otto Porter Jr. (whom they just signed), Thaddeus Young, and Precious Achiuwa.
However, if he does get a spot on the team, he can provide the Raptors with spot-up shooting, off-ball movement, and silly stories of Adam Sandler from the set of Hustle.
So, I’m fine either way.
But what are your thoughts on this signing? Do you think Hernangómez is a good fit for the Raptors?
