Udonis Haslem is a Miami legend.
He was born and raised in Magic City and spent his entire life there. Many players in his position would have chosen to leave home for new and shiny places.
But he grew up in Miami, went to college in Miami, and played professionally in Miami his entire career.
However, he did leave for that one year after the 2002 NBA draft, when he went overseas to play basketball in France because teams thought he was too small to play power forward and didn’t draft him.
But he returned from that trip quickly -in 2003- and this is when his NBA tale began.
